Hours: Daily, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Compensation: ₦500,000
About the Exhibition
Renowned artist and textile designer Uzo Njoku is bringing a vibrant, immersive solo exhibition to Lagos this December. Celebrating the intersection of fine art and textile, the pop-up will showcase original works, limited edition prints, and merchandise in a gallery-style retail experience.
We’re hiring two Gallery Assistants to help create a welcoming, professional, and informative space for visitors throughout the exhibition.
What You’ll Be Doing
Engage with guests: Share information about Uzo Njoku’s artwork and the vision behind the show.
Handle product and artwork sales: Process purchases, manage inventory, and maintain clean displays.
Maintain gallery cleanliness and organization: Ensure the space looks fresh and inviting every day.
Answer questions and assist with visitor needs in a friendly, professional manner.
Support the daily operations of the pop-up and communicate any issues to the project manager.
You’re a Great Fit If You:
Are personable, proactive, and passionate about art, fashion, or design.
Have customer service or retail experience—especially in art, fashion, or creative spaces.
Are reliable, punctual, and able to commit to the full exhibition period (Dec 1–31).
Are comfortable speaking about artwork and engaging with both local and international guests.
Can handle point-of-sale systems or are willing to learn quickly.
