Duration: 1-month pop-up + pre-launch planning period (May–Jan 2026)
Compensation: ₦2,000,000 + performance-based bonus

About the Project

Uzo Njoku, an internationally recognized artist and textile designer, is bringing a month-long solo exhibition to Lagos exploring the vibrant intersection of textile and fine art. The pop-up will celebrate Nigerian identity, craft, and contemporary creativity through immersive installations and curated events.

We’re looking for a PR & Marketing Lead to take this project to the next level—creating buzz, securing press, and making sure Lagos shows up and shows out.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead all public relations efforts: Pitch to media outlets, secure interviews/features, and build local hype.

  • Oversee the marketing campaign: Manage timelines for flyers, press kits, influencer campaigns, and digital storytelling.

  • Build and execute a social media strategy (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter) in collaboration with the artist’s team.

  • Coordinate with Lagos-based influencers, curators, and creatives to activate their communities.

  • Plan and promote opening night and related events with the Events Coordinator.

  • Track press coverage, guest attendance, and marketing success metrics.

You’re a Great Fit If You:

  • Have experience leading marketing/PR campaigns for art, fashion, or cultural events.

  • Know the Lagos creative scene and have contacts in local media, art, and lifestyle circles.

  • Are a storyteller who understands visual identity and brand-building.

  • Can manage timelines, collaborate across a team, and problem-solve in real time.

  • Love the intersection of art, culture, and textile—and are excited to elevate a global artist’s return to Lagos.

What You Get

  • ₦2,000,000 for the duration of the project.

  • A performance-based bonus depending on audience turnout, media coverage, and engagement.

  • The opportunity to be part of a high-profile international art exhibition with a renowned artist.
